The theme of FIRST® LEGO® League Explore for the 2023-2024 season was “Masterpiece.” This program engages students ages 6 to 10 by challenging them to focus on the fundamentals of engineering and explore how they can combine art and science to create something unique.

Throughout the season, participants learned to design, code, and create innovative solutions using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential set. The “Masterpiece” theme encouraged children to consider how their ideas could be transformed into works of art, while developing their problem-solving and teamwork skills.

The Explore program was unique in that it not only engaged children with robotics and engineering, but also inspired them to think creatively and present their solutions in a way that combined technology and art. At the end of the season, participants presented their projects and discoveries to a wider audience, demonstrating how STEM and art can work together.
