The theme for the 2022-2023 season was “Superpowered.” This dynamic and inspiring program gave children the opportunity to explore the world of energy and its importance in our daily lives. Participants learned how different energy sources power our world, as well as how we can use these resources more efficiently and sustainably. Children immersed themselves in the topic by creating and designing their own energy systems and looking for solutions for the future. The program included a series of hands-on activities in which participants developed models, explored different types of energy, and learned about how it is transformed and transported in our world.

The final event of the season gave children the opportunity to present their projects and discoveries to an audience. The “Superpowered” program not only developed their knowledge and skills in the field of STEM, but also inspired them to think about the future and the possibilities for creating a more sustainable and efficient world.

FIRST® LEGO® League Discover, with its “Superpowered” season, continues to encourage the youngest participants to discover, create, and work as a team. The program focuses on building essential STEM skills through play and hands-on experiences, while maintaining a spirit of curiosity and fun.

15 kindergartens from Plovdiv, Kalofer, Varna, Ruse and Sofia participated in the program in 2023.
