FIRST® LEGO® League "Masterpiece" season 2023/2024
The 2023/2024 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge season, themed “Masterpiece,” inspired students from across Bulgaria to explore how science and technology can support the creation and dissemination of art. The final event of this season took place in April 2024 in Burgas and was organized by the Center for Creative Learning and the Municipality of Burgas. The competition featured 24 teams from different regions of the country, who demonstrated their engineering skills and creativity by designing and programming robots that performed various missions related to the theme of art.
Team "Zentix" from Varna won first place, impressing the jury with their innovative project and precise execution of the tasks. Thanks to the prize provided by the Municipality of Burgas, they represented Bulgaria at the European Robotics Championship in Norway in May 2024.
This season highlighted how important the integration of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) with art is, inspiring young participants to think outside the box and use technology as a means of creative expression.
The FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge program provides students with a unique opportunity to develop their skills in robotics and innovation, while fostering creativity and collaboration in a global context.
