FIRST® LEGO® League "Superpowered" season 2022/2023

During the 2022-2023 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge season, the theme “Superpowered” inspired students and youth from around the world to explore and rethink the ways we create, store, and use energy in our daily lives. This season was special with its focus on a sustainable future and the importance of energy to our society.

Participants had to design and program LEGO robots that perform specific missions related to energy challenges such as energy production, transmission, storage and consumption. The goal of the teams was not only to create robots that would perform these tasks, but also to develop innovative projects related to energy efficiency or renewable energy sources, offering real-world solutions to global problems. This approach not only developed the technical skills of the participants, but also encouraged creativity and critical thinking.

On July 8, 2023, at the Kolodrum Hall in Plovdiv, one of the most exciting events of this season, organized by the Center for Creative Learning, took place. This event brought together over 200 students and their mentors from various schools in Bulgaria. The participants demonstrated their robotic projects, the fruit of long months of hard work and preparation. The event in Plovdiv not only emphasized the importance of STEM education, but also inspired children to continue developing their skills and knowledge in the field of robotics and innovation, leaving lasting memories for all those present.
